Lit by a shaft of sunlight piercing through the woodland canopy bluebells were said to ring when fairies were summoning their kin to a gathering. Unfortunately if heard by a human it would be their death knell. On a warm, still morning their scent can be quite heady. |

At times it seems that almost every Bluebell wood is home to Badgers with this Cheshire woodland being no different. The unmistakable sett is too often easy to find with well trodden paths leading through the Bluebells being a giveaway. |
