Just a quick note to explain that in February 2016 I decided to update the theme of the blog to what’s known as a full-width responsive theme.<\/p>\n
Originally when I started the blog 95% of visitors viewed it on either\u00a0a\u00a0 desktop or laptop screen. However, times have changed and\u00a0visitors now use desktops, laptops,\u00a0tablets and phones. With a wide range of different size displays in use it was time to move on and design the blog to be more adaptable. As a result the majority of images included in older posts are automatically upscaled on higher resolution displays. Unfortunately a\u00a0loss in image quality\u00a0can occur. Really\u00a0I should manually re-edit the photos\u00a0and change them all but life’s too short……………especially when many of them are also available via Flickr.<\/p>\n
If anybody is really keen on a copy of any of the photos used in the blog don’t be afraid to ask. I’m always happy to help out a charity or a good cause. Most of the images are available on a\u00a0 Creative Commons license.<\/a><\/p>\n Hope you enjoy the blog.
