Great to see several large drifts of Pyramid Orchids amongst the dunes. At this time of year by far the most common of the various Orchids living within the National Nature Reserve.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

The far rarer Dune Helleborine restricted to the coastal dunes of Wales and NW England. Despite the flowers not yet appearing the \u201csickly\u201d looking narrow leaves are a diagnostic feature.<\/td>\nFairly common especially within the Dune slacks. Surprisingly they can be difficult to find amongst the dwarf willows and the rest of the vegetation.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
