A quick trip up the road whilst staying in Dorset to Higher Hyde Heath. Mid July 28C we didn\u2019t expect to see a lot however there\u2019s always something to be found. <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

The sheer number of Butterflies was astounding with the Gatekeeper being by far the most common. A real pleasure to see them in perfect condition. <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n\n

Again freshly hatched and in common with the Gatekeeper a species often seen back home.<\/td>\nUnfortunately absent from most of north west England. I hadn\u2019t realised just how different the males and females are. Sadly this one is fairly worn.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n\n
