One of the local Buzzards sets a course to intercept one of four intruders looking for an easy meal over Kenworthy Wood.\u00a0 Due to a combination of a Myxamatosis outbreak and a healthy population of foxes we now have the remains of rabbits all over the woodland.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Twenty years ago if somebody had told me we\u2019d have Buzzards soaring over the local woodlands and even over the back garden I\u2019d have thought they were mad. Amongst all the warnings about climate change and the impending catastrophe its easy to miss recent success stories like the rise of the Buzzard and the return of Kingfshers and Dippers to the once toxic River Mersey.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

A short stroll through the woodlands revealed a Treecreeper picking its way up Wild Cherry<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n\n

The usual view \u2013 one of those birds that have an annoying habit of skulking around in the shadows.<\/td>\nA brief glance on the sunny side before going back to the insects and grubs hiding away in the shade.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n\n\n\n\n
