Seems like ages ago when I last updated the blog with events closer to home. <\/p>\n

Really impressed with Grow Wild\u2019s project \u201cA Tale of Two Cities\u201d and the wildflower seeding along Princess Road in south Manchester. Hopefully it\u2019ll catch on and replaces the mown grass verges that do little to support our local biodiversity. <\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

An interesting mixture of species with plenty of purple Corncockle, white Corn Chamomile and the occasional blue Cornflower . <\/p>\n

I\u2019m far from convinced many of the species chosen were ever part of our local flora<\/a> however they appear to be appreciated by the insects. If the insects benefit hopefully everything higher up the food chain will also benefit. Should be interesting to see how the areas develop over the next couple of years. <\/p>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
