A pair of courting Great Crested Grebes at Meresands\u00a0 Wood LWT reserve. Despite making all the right moves this particular pair\u00a0\u00a0are yet to successfully raise any young. Hopefully this year they’ll succeed.<\/p>\n

Thankfully the\u00a0Tree Sparrow population appears relatively stable at Martin Mere. Unfortunately in common with\u00a0so many other farmland birds the situation elsewhere is more worrying.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
