Well I suppose at this time of year we ought to be grateful so thank God it\u2019s not been cold because if it was we could be under 8ft of snow.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s rained every day now for the past 3 weeks whilst the binoculars are waterproof the DSLR most definitely isn\u2019t. It\u2019s only previous soaking resulted in a new motherboard as water somehow sneaked in under the LCD display. In between the downpours the recent outings have all been within the local area. Thankfully the compact camera (Panasonic LX5) fits within the pocket of the waterproofs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Also seen – the regular posse of 6 Rose Ringed Parakeets, 2 Nuthatches, a Great Spotted Woodpecker, a couple of Teal, a Sparrowhawk,\u00a0 a male Kestrel, several Redwings and a Bullfinch.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Looks like one of the more choice Chinese species rather than the North American species that\u2019s frequently used to treat a variety of ailments.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
