Look at that shiny head, a good one to compare with the very similar Willow Tit in the previous post. Definitely a smart looking bird. <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Nothing rare or unusual about this one however after spending many years living next to the Wyre estuary the call of the Redshank brings back a lot of happy memories. <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n

Snipe in the evening sunshine \u2013 again something else we don\u2019t get a lot of. Unlike the sunshine in the right habitat the Snipe are relatively common – even in Manchester.  <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n
