Great to see several Pied Flycatchers amongst the early arrivals whilst exploring the Derbyshire woodlands. Undoubtedly the river helps to ensure a vast quantity of flies and midges throughout the summer months. With at least 15 nest boxes close by it appears to be a popular spot with the flycatchers.
