Monkey Orchid. Unfortunately the chances of seeing one of these in the north of England is nil. |
The eyes, nose, arms, legs and tail are distinctive. Restricted to Hartslock and a couple of places in Kent. |

Lady Orchid. Slightly earlier flowering this one was just on the verge of going over. |
Again, unlikely to be mistaken for anything else. |

The Lady x Monkey hybrid. Taller and stronger growing than either of its parents – a good example of hybrid vigour. |
Plenty of other interesting plants on site with White Bryony our only native member of the Cucumber family being particularly common. |
