One in a thousand. Four Spotted Chaser at Ham Wall.
Another Four Spotted Chaser with this one being close by at Ham Wall.

Remarkable to see hundreds of Four Spotted Chasers sheltering along the tree line. Surprisingly relatively few Hobbies. Plenty of Bitterns, Marsh Harriers and Egrets. Interesting to hear a particularly unusual Bittern that barked like a dog.

This should have been an amazing photograph of 3 Otters walking across a grassy footpath and dropping into the pool. Unfortunately our animal obsessed Border Collie also spotted them and with the Otters being so close restraining  him took priority.
